“Remembering We’re Alive” wins national music award.

“Remembering We’re Alive” was commissioned by Bruce Koliha and composed by SRVC member and composer Martin Rokeach. The piece was performed in the SRVC 2025 Spring Concert as a world premiere. Sacramento State’s annual nation-wide competition for new compositions, the Festival of New American Music, which received more than 230 submissions in four categories, selected this piece as the winner in the choral category. Congratulations Marty!
